DESCRIPTION:
This one-sheet letter is from the Army Service Forces Office of the Quartermaster General. It appears that this letter was included with another document that was used to confirm a soldier's choice of headstone. Not sure when this letter was used. Best guess is late 1940's to early 1950's. It talks about veterans and has different regulations for veterans of the Spanish War and the Civil War.
Condition:
Excellent condition. The letter has been folded in thirds. There are no tears. Light creasing in the lower corner.
